When creating a new media gallery, be sure to:

• Consider which group in the community the media gallery should belong to, if you have multiple Media Galleries, and who should have access to files.
• Review the media gallery default settings and decide which settings to change for the gallery you are creating.
• When you create a media gallery, you can specify the basic gallery properties such as the name, description, and list of owners as well as which users are allowed to upload, edit, and remove content from the gallery. You can also set the default file view type (list or thumbnails).

To create a media gallery:Navigate to the group home page.

1. Mouse over Management.
2. Click Manage group. The Manage Group panel appears.
3. Click Manage applications. The Manage applications panel appears.
4. Click Add application. The Add application panel appears.
5. Click Add a gallery. The Add gallery panel appears.
6. Fill in the gallery Name.
7. Click Save.
