Lock or Unlock a Wiki Page

Locking a wiki page disables nonadministrative users from changing a page.

The lock and unlock buttons are only available to users with administrative rights.

Lock a wiki page

Important: If you have made any editing changes to the page, save your work before locking it. If you do not do so, your changes will be lost. (You will be prompted by a confirmation dialog box if you have not already saved the work.)

To lock a wiki page:

1. Navigate to the desired page.
2. Click More.
3. Click Unlocked. It will changed to Locked. When the page is locked, it cannot be edited.

Unlock a wiki page

A locked wiki page does not have an Edit tab present.

To unlock a wiki page:

1. Click More.
2. Navigate to the desired page.
3. Click Locked. The page status changes to unlocked. The page can now be edited.
