Forum Comment Settings

You can view, search, edit, publish/unpublish, and delete comments.

View comments

To view comments:

1. Navigate to the forum.
2. Mouse over Management.
3. Click Manage forum. The Manage forum panel appears.
   
4. Click Comments. The Comments panel appears.
   

Search comments

To search comments for a term or phrase:

1. Navigate to the forum comments as instructed in "View comments."
2. Enter a search term into the search box. Comments containing the search term are displayed.

Edit a comment

To change where a feature is displayed:

1. Navigate to the forum comments as instructed in "View comments."
2. Click the desired comment.
3. Click Edit under the comment. The edit window appears.
   
4. You can do the following:
   1. Edit text, including find and replace
   2. Insert links, images/videos/files, or special characters
   3. View in fullscreen, blocks, or use visual aids
   4. Format the text or clear formatting
   5. Insert a table
   6. View preview or source code

    

5. Click Save.

Publish/unpublish a comment

To publish or unpublish a comment:

1. Navigate to the forum comments as instructed in "View comments."
2. Click the desired comment.
3. Click Edit under the comment. The edit window appears.
4. If the comment is published (indicated by a checked "Published" check box), you can unpublished it by deselecting the check box. If the comment is unpublished (indicated by an unchecked "Published" check box), you can publish it by selecting the check box.
5. Click Save.

Delete a comment

To delete a comment:

1. Navigate to the forum comments as instructed in "View comments."
2. Click the comment you wish to delete.
3. Click Delete. The comment is deleted.
