Adobe Connect Overview

APAN uses Adobe Connect for web conferencing and meetings for community participants.

• Meetings are live, in real-time
• Adobe Connect no longer uses Adobe Flash.  Adobe Connect uses HTML 5.  This means that there is no need to download software, which provides APAN users a low-bandwidth environments; users can just go right into the meeting via the browser; however, to ensure all functionality can be utilized, downloading the Adobe Connect client is recommended.  (See more, here.)
• Meetings are persistent; you only have to create a meeting once.  Through APAN, you do not have to schedule the meeting room a second time. 
• Your content will always be available.  Anything that is uploaded, will remain persistent to be utilized again.
• Meeting rooms are customizable to serve your conference needs.
