Adobe Connect does have this capability with version 11.2.2 on the APAN platform; however, the "paid service" closed captioning is something that APAN does not provide.
You may enable the closed captioning feature by following instructions posted on the Adobe Connect website here: https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/using/closed-captioning-html-client.html .
Enabling the feature allows you to assign a meeting participant to type captions manually.
If you would like to add a commercial "captioning provider" to your unclassified Adobe Connect Meetings, (e.g., StreamText, 2020Captioning, etc.), you will need to purchase this from a Service Provider. Contact your closed captioning service provider for more information.
APAN does not provide support or troubleshooting assistance for any "captioning provider".
Customers must not use a commercial service for any CUI meetings.
Using Flash creates many problems. It is no longer supported by most browsers, and your System Admins are also required to remove it. To ensure no Security violations occur, Classic view was removed and Standard view is now the default.
