If you are a group owner, you can delete a group without seeking out an administrator to help you. To do so:

1. Navigate to the group you want to delete.
2. Mouse over Management.
3. Click Manage group. The Manage group panel appears.
4. Click Group options. The Group Options panel appears. 
5. Click Delete.
6. Click OK in the confirmation box.
