On occasion, a PO may be informally visiting a campus or institute and will request to spend 30-45 minutes to introduce AOARD and their program. The PO will be interested to learn about an investigator’s current research projects and to discuss fundamental research project ideas for which they are seeking funding.
If under a current grant with AOARD or AFOSR, the PO may visit the PI’s laboratory to assess research progress and to discuss potential follow-on work or new ideas for potential funding.
