NBIT Program Review and Nanoscience Technical Exchange Meeting

The US-Korea Nano Bio Information Technology (NBIT) Program Review and Nanoscience Technical Exchange 2014 will be held 7-8 August 2014 at the University of California, Berkeley, 106 Stanley Hall

7 - 8 August: NBIT Program Review and Nanoscience Technical Exchange (agenda will be posted at a later time)

Attendees are responsible for their own lodging.  Hotels in the region include:

  • Berkeley Lab Guesthouse, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory campus (20 min walk from Stanley Hall, shuttle service available)

Due to limited parking on campus, we strongly suggest staying at the Berkeley Lab Guesthouse (shuttle available), Bancroft Hotel or other hotels within walking distance.  If you prefer to stay in downtown San Francisco, you can take the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) to Downtown Berkeley Station, then take the campus shuttle or walk 20 min to Stanley Hall.  If you are staying in Emeryville, you will need a rental car.  Recommend parking in one of the City of Berkeley public parking structures then walk or take the campus shuttle (see parking information below).    

Arrival, Directions & Parking
UC Berkeley is located approximately 15 miles northeast of San Francisco and 5 miles north of Oakland, California

Nearest Airports: Oakland International Airport – 15 miles
San Francisco International Airport  – 25 miles

UC Berkeley’s Stanley Hall is located along the Hearst Mining Circle in the northeast area of campus.  Click here for directions to UC Berkeley campus and campus map and parking.

There is limited amount of campus and metered street parking (1 or 2 hour maximum).  Please use public transit, campus shuttle, or park in City of Berkeley public parking structures.
