Viewing a forum

When viewing a forum, the following available feeds are displayed in browsers supporting RSS autodiscovery:

• Recent threads in the current forum - Each new thread is displayed as an RSS feed item.
• Recent posts from all threads in the current forum - Each new post, regardless of its relevant thread, displays as an RSS feed item.

The default RSS link, when viewing a list of threads, is for recent threads.

Viewing a thread

When viewing a forum thread, the following available feeds are displayed in browsers supporting RSS autodiscovery:

• Recent threads in the current forum - Each new thread is displayed as an RSS feed item.
• Recent posts from all threads in the current forum - Each new post, regardless of its relevant thread, displays as an RSS feed item.
• Recent posts from the current thread - Each new post in the thread is displayed as an RSS feed item.

The default RSS link, when viewing a forum thread, is for recent posts within the thread.

Viewing a complete forum RSS feed availability list

Additional forum RSS feeds are available for viewing recent threads. These are not automatically exposed to the browser, but can be accessed via use of the ?mode=### parameter in the url for the recent threads feed.

1. Active - Recent threads, the same as the default recent threads feed.
2. NotRead - Only threads that the current user has not yet read.
3. Unanswered - Only threads that have not been replied to.
4. Videos - Only threads that contain a video in the first post.
