Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

In our ongoing efforts to enhance account security, we are pleased to announce the implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all APAN accounts.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?

MFA is an extra layer of security designed to ensure that only authorized individuals can access your account, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access.

How Does MFA Work?

Beginning October 31, 2023, when you log in to your account, you will be prompted to provide your regular credentials and a One-Time Verification Code. These codes will be sent to the email address(s) associated with your account.

Key Points to Note:

• One-Time Verification Codes are valid for a period of 120 minutes.
• Accessing your account from a new IP address will prompt you to enter a new verification code.
• New One-Time Verification Codes are required every 14 days.
• One-Time Verification Codes will be sent to both your primary email associated with your account and your recovery email.
