TradeWinds is a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) approved, U.S. Southern Command-sponsored annual exercise, involving security forces and disaster response agencies from partner nations, primarily from the Caribbean Basin, U.S., and Canada.

UNITAS is a combined South American and U.S.-sponsored annual exercise series that incorporates several South American nations in addition to each phase’s host-nation.
