RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS aggregates updates that are made to the content within a community when one is subscribed to an RSS feed. It is an easy method to identify updates about blogs, forums, media galleries and wikis without having to visit each application.
As a group member, if you wish to see updates to content within your group, the APAN RSS feed aggregates and organizes this information for you. You can select to see updates for your entire group, or for individual group applications.
APAN only supports the RSS feed. You’ll have to check with your system administrator to identify how to receive feeds within your email client. This is due to firewalls and individual computer configurations on the computer you are using.
