Create an Adobe Connect Meeting

How do I Create a Meeting?

Ensure that your Group Options are set

  1. Go to your [Group].
  2. Click Group Options > Features.
  3. Check Connect Room.
  4. Click Save.

Create a meeting

  1. After setting your Group Options, go to your [Group's] homepage, a Connect Rooms tab will appear.  (If you do not see Connect Rooms, click More in the navigation tab.)
  2. Click the Connect Rooms tab > New > Create a Connect Room.
  3. Create a Name for your Connect Room and create a custom URL.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Use the link that is created to go to the Adobe Connect room.
  6. Confirm your Adobe Connect room appears on your navigation tab within your community.  If you do not see the Connect Room tab, click more.

SharePoint Platform

At this time, this can only be completed by creating a Help Desk ticket.  Once the ticket is received with your request, the ticket will be escalated to the appropriate team and someone may reach out to you.

What do I do if I do not have permissions to create a Connect Room?

Contact your Group or Site owner if you need a Connect Room.  Or, contact the APAN Help Desk.

Deleting Original Owner/Creator of Adobe Connect Room

***CAUTION: If an owner who created the Adobe Connect Room in Telligent is removed from the Telligent Community, the entire room, with all of the content will also be deleted.  Ensure, you do not delete or remove the original created of the community. CAUTION***
