AFOSR/ANFF Program Review

Please note that this program review has already happened. We have made all of the presentations available for you to download.

On behalf of the US Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), it is my pleasure to invite you to the 2012 AFOSR/Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) Program Review that will be held on 30 Apr – 4 May 2012  at the Four Points by Sheraton, 1201K Street, NW,Washington, DC.

Following AFOSR’s participation at the Inaugural US-Australia S&T Joint Commission Meeting in February 2011 and the ensuing ANFF-AFOSR Joint Workshop held in Australia in July 2011, AFOSR highlights the quality and relevance of US/Australia basic science collaborations. Based on the research themes identified at the July workshop, the objective of the joint review is to build on existing research and to develop new collaborative basic science ties in Materials and Nanotechnology between the US Air Force (USAF) and Australia.

This review is an opportunity for US and Australian researchers to present their work and develop scientific partnerships under the over-arching principal theme of Sensors with topics in advanced materials, nanoelectronics, photonics, lasers, MEMS devices, and power.  I welcome you to showcase world class research and expand the horizon of international collaboration in basic science with the USAF.

Registration and logistical information for this meeting will be handled through this meeting website. This site has links to information and forms for the agenda, lodging, registration and miscellaneous information. A draft agenda will be posted on the meeting website once available.
