On behalf of the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, you are invited to attend “Directed Energy Microwaves Research: Virtual Prototyping and the Paradigm”, presented by Professor Edl Schamiloglu, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Applied Electromagnetics Group, University of New Mexico.

Professor Schamiloglu is the Director of the Pulsed Power, Beams, and Microwaves Laboratory at the University of New Mexico. His areas of research Interests range from physics and technology of charged particle beam generation and propagation to high power microwave sources and effects.

He is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, a Fellow of the IEEE, member of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Science Society’s Pulsed Power Science & Technology Committee, a member of the American Physical Society, and a member of the Cornell Society of Engineers.
